    Overview

    The Symphony Honolulu is a 45 story high-rise mixed use luxury condominium located in Kakaako at the corner of Kapiolani Blvd. and Ward Avenue. The tower is 400 feet tall, sits on 3.35 acres of land and features 388 residential units. There is also 80,000 s.f of commercial spaces including “Velocity” a multi-story luxury car showroom, Italian restaurant and wine bar, café and office space.

    The project was developed by Oliver McMillan (Pacifica Honolulu) and completed in 2016. The building design was done in collaboration with Gensler, Architects Hawaii Ltd. and Philpotts Interiors.

    Symphony’s sales commenced in 2013 with 70% of units being sold in its first two days and continues to be a popular choice for local residents.


    Residences

    Floors 8-43 feature a mix of generously sized 1 bedroom (672 s.f.), 2 bedroom (922 – 1,274 s.f.), and 3 bedroom residences (1,500 s.f.). Even larger penthouse units are located on floors 44-45. Most floors contain 11 residences per floor which are serviced by 4 high speed elevators.

    The residences have a sleek contemporary design with hardwood flooring, floor-to-ceiling glass, and great lanai spaces. Kitchens come with polished Quartz counter tops, stainless steel Bosch appliances, and Euorpean style kitchen cabinetry.

    Bedrooms are carpeted with large walk-in closets. Master bathrooms are spacious with most featuring luxurious free-standing spa style showers. ??

    Views

    Symphony has a Mauka/Makai orientation meaning you will have either a Mountain or Ocean view depending on which side of the building your unit is facing. The tower sits at the northern edge of Kakaako so there are 4-6 visible city blocks of warehouses between the building and the ocean. Diamond Head is visible from the upper 20th floors and above. Mountain views are also quite nice as there are no high-rises directly surrounding Symphony.

    Future Ward Village and Our Kakaako developments will cause future obstruction for Ocean facing units if that is a concern.


    Location

    Symphony sits at the corner of Kapiolani Blvd and Ward Ave. and sits directly across the street from the Blaisdell Center. With it’s central location and access to two major city streets, Symphony is a good location and provides easy driving access to Downtown Honolulu or Waikiki. However, Symphony sits smack in the middle of both Kakaako master planned areas (Ward Village and Our Kakaako) and so is a little bit outside of convenient walking distance to either. There are multiple Biki stations in close proximity to the building which provides easy ways to get around Kakaako. Straub Medical Center and the Honolulu Club are also located on the same block which could be beneficial to residents.
