Uraku Tower is a 29 story residential condominium built in 1990 and located footsteps away from the Ala Moana Center. Uraku was designed during the Japanese economic explosion in the late 80's and was the original Ultra-Luxury project of Honolulu with large floorplans, a ground floor restaurant and over-the-top residential services. This building is not for everybody but for those who seek resort style amenities and services for a more affordable price tag then the new crop of Ultra-Luxury (Waiea, Park Lane), Uraku is a great choice.
Uraku Tower was built to accommodate a luxury lifestyle. It’s maintenance fee may be considerably high but it includes a lot:
BBQ Area with Outdoor Dining
Limousine Service (airport, golf, dining)
Weekly Housekeeping Service (linens, towels, lanai cleaning)
24 Hour Concierge
There are 92 units available on 29 floors, almost exclusively two-bedroom floor plans with the exception of the penthouse levels (26-29) which are three-bedrooms. The two-bedroom units are very spacious and range from 1,275 - 1,384 sf. Lanais are attached to every unit and are large (139-199sf). Floor-to-ceiling glass in the living rooms open up the atmosphere even more.
Uraku Tower has one view, Ocean! All units face toward the ocean, which is only a few blocks away. The mall and also the newly built Park Lane will impede some of the lower floor views but they are low-rise so there shouldn’t be any further obstruction. If you are on the upper levels, the views of Ala Moana Beach Park are expansive and gorgeous. Enjoy the fireworks on the 4th of July from your lanai.
Sitting at about the midpoint of Ala Moana and Kakaako, this location combines a bit of everything. Ala Moana Center is at your footsteps, Ward Village is a 5 minute walk, Ala Moana Beach Park is a few blocks away, and the upcoming HRT Rail Station will be a short walk.
